Schuckman Realty closes 3,800 s/f lease; named agent for 7,500 s/f

According to Kenneth Schuckman, vice president of Schuckman Realty, the firm has recently closed a lease for Verizon Wireless on Rockaway Tpke. Schuckman Realty was assigned with finding and seeking out a tenant for the former gas station located on the corner of Rockaway Tpke. and Peninsula Blvd. Verizon Wireless signed a 15-year corporate lease for the 3,800 s/f building. Schuckman represented the tenant and landlord in this transaction. According to Schuckman, his firm has been chosen as the exclusive brokers for the King Kullen Shopping Center on Sunrise Hwy. in Bellmore, N.Y. This grocery anchored shopping center has approximately 7,500 s/f of retail space available. Among the tenant mix is Piccolo, one of Long Island's premiere Italian eateries. Schuckman stated that in spite of the downturn in the economy, his firm has already seen quite a positive response from the tenants in the market.
