Creating a partnership with New York Fashion Tech Lab (NYFTL) and hosting the co-working accelerator program. The partnership has enabled me to further engage with the ever-growing fashion tech community. The talented emerging business owners are a source of inspiration. Who or what has been the strongest influence on your career and why? My grandfather. He always kept work a passion and not a four letter word - this is something that stuck with me. He was dedicated, hardworking and most importantly loved what he did. What is the first thing you do when you arrive in the office in the morning? Read The Skimm and check my calendar. What time management strategies do you find to be the most effective for you? I rely on a heavily color-coded calendar. I even schedule the weekly cupcake breaks in our office! Trello is a lifesaver for organizing and completing tasks - though I am surrounded by sticky notes! What is the best advice you have received and who was it from? Never stop learning. From one of my high school teachers. List 3 women that you would like to have drinks / dinner with and where would you go? 1. Pheobe Philo, Creative Director of Celine 2. Francesca Amfitheatrof, Design Director of Tiffany & Co. 3. Sheryl Sandberg, COO of Facebook. Somewhere chic, they are all very chic! What is your favorite quote? "The trick of enjoying New York is not to be so busy grinding your way to the center of the earth that you fail to notice the sparkle of the place, a scale and a kind of wonder that puts all human endeavors in their proper place." -David Carr What did you want to be when you grew up? A veterinarian.
