Schaefer and Hoekzema promoted to managing directors and co-presidents at Kemper System America, Inc.

West Seneca, NY Kemper System America has promoted Christian Schaefer and Joseph Hoekzema to managing directors and co-presidents, overseeing operations across Northern America, effective December 1st, 2020. 

Both Schaefer and Hoekzema are well-known within the building materials and construction industry. In their new roles, Schaefer and Hoekzema will jointly continue to lead Kemper System America on its path focusing on quality, customer service and product innovation. 

As the current CFO at Kemper System America, Schaefer brings over 20 years of experience in the construction industry. Starting with Kemper System GmbH & Co. KG in 2001 at headquarters in Germany, he then came to the U.S. division in 2011 to take on the role of the CFO. 

Hoekzema brings over 30 years of sales and management experience to his new role, most recently as director of sales at Kemper System America. He has been an active member of the NYC construction market since 2003 and has been with Kemper System America since July 2014. 

Andreas Wiggenhagen, current president at Kemper System America, will be returning to his previous role as managing director at Kemper System GmbH & Co. KG, and retains his role as head of the global Kemper System Group.
