Perry Ellis recently committed to a 21,000 s/f sublease at 530 Seventh Ave. The firm will house its showrooms and corporate offices on the 25th and 26th floors of the 460,000 s/f property owned by Savitt Partners and located in the Fashion District at 39th St. Perry Ellis plans to relocate its operations to the new space from 1411 Broadway. Perry Ellis will occupy the space that previously housed Eileen Fisher.
Bob Savitt, president of Savitt Partners, acted on behalf of the ownership, while David Levy of Adams & Co. Real Estate represented Perry Ellis in the transaction. Studley brokers, David Goldstein and John Mambrino, negotiated for Eileen Fisher.
"We are very excited to have a company of Perry Ellis' caliber join our impressive tenant roster at 530 Seventh Ave.," said Savitt. "We were able to work closely with both Perry Ellis' and Eileen Fisher's representatives to arrange a deal that benefited all parties involved."
Built in 1930, the Art-Deco 530 Seventh Ave. is widely recognized as a premier location for many fashion companies. Perry Ellis joins other tenants including Max Mara, New Balance, YMI Jeanswear, Danskin, Nike Swimwear, Maggy London, Kenneth Cole, Select Showroom, and Showroom Delfina.
