Manhattan, NY According to Daun Paris, president of Eastern Consolidated, Andrew Sasson and Chad Sinsheimer, both in the Investment Sales Division, have been promoted to senior directors.

“These outstanding individuals exemplify Eastern Consolidated’s culture of achievement and excellence,” said Paris. “Through their hard work and initiative, they have made significant contributions to the company’s bottom line.”

A Wall Street veteran, Sinsheimer brings his financial expertise to complex real estate transactions. Two of Sinsheimer’s most recent deals include the $34.5 million sale of two interconnected townhouse shells at 273-275 West 11th St., and the $51 million sale of a 123,440 s/f development site at 334-344 West 36th St.

He is currently in contract to sell for $37.41 million the home of Brooklyn Bowl and Brooklyn Brewery at 61-71 Wythe Ave. in Williamsburg. He also has closed a number of development site sales in Long Island City and, as a result, frequently serves as an expert on real estate panels about the neighborhood.

During his first year with the company, Sinsheimer was awarded Eastern Consolidated’s 2013 “Rising Star of the Year” award with seven deals totaling over $71 million.

Prior to joining Eastern Consolidated, Sinsheimer was an Equity Options Trader at the Cutler Group LP where his self-funded portfolio primarily focused on illiquid names, binary events, Regulation Sho securities and biotechnology. He generated an average return on equity of 75 percent per annum. Prior to that he was a Senior Equity Options Trader at Group One Trading where he was a leader of the trading team that made markets in a portfolio of over 400 NYSE Equity Options, NASDAQ Equity Options and Exchange Index Options.

Sinsheimer holds his Series 7, 55, 56 and 63 securities licenses. He is a graduate of Syracuse University’s Newhouse School of Public Communication. He also is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY).

An expert in the Brooklyn market, Sasson recently brokered the $86 million sale of a portfolio of nine buildings in Manhattan and Brooklyn, and the $90 million sale of 37-53 Flatbush Ave., a 230,000 s/f, 10-story storage facility, one of the largest single asset sales in the boroughs’ history.

He is currently marketing a major development site in Downtown Brooklyn, and frequently speaks as an expert on panels about this area of the city.

Prior to joining Eastern, Sasson was an Asset Manager at a local property management firm where he was responsible for managing of over 30 commercial assets including residential properties, mixed-use properties, commercial properties, and hotels located in New York, New Jersey, and California. He was also heavily involved in numerous retail and office leasing negotiations.

Sasson earned his Master’s Degree in Real Estate from New York University’s Schack Institute of Real Estate, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel Management from Boston University. He is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY).
