Riverhead, NY According to Manhattan Skyline Management Corp., Chipotle Mexican Grill has arrived to 1501 Country Rd. Chipotle signed a 2,800 s/f lease for the ground floor commercial space that has become the chain’s first location in the area, and its only outpost within a 30-mile radius.

Joshua Roth, vice president, retail leasing for Manhattan Skyline Management Corp. represented the landlord on the deal. Chipotle was represented by broker Daniel Spector, formerly of Winick Realty Group.

“We are excited to welcome Chipotle to the neighborhood and hope to see continued growth and diversification of the commercial mix in Riverhead and surrounding areas of Long Island,” Roth said.

The newly opened Chipotle space includes an outdoor patio and floor-to-ceiling windows on three sides of the building. The free-standing store was formerly home to the Suzuki Dealership at Riverhead Bay Motors, and is located in town center adjacent to Lowe’s and just east of Tanger Outlets. The location is easily accessible from Rte. 58.

Chipotle, a nation-wide favorite “fast-casual” restaurant brand, is known for bringing its customers delicious, fresh Mexican food made from natural ingredients.
