Westbury, NY Larry Ross, vice president of Compass commercial real estate division led by Adelaide Polsinelli negotiated a lease execution with SPORTIME Pickleball LLC of a soon-to-open pickleball facility at 575 Merrick Ave.
Scheduled to open this fall 2024, the complex will feature 13 brand new courts in a 30,000 s/f facility. The site is situated on 1.6 acres, near Roosevelt Field Shopping Mall and Eisenhower Park with visibility on a main thoroughfare.
Hornig Capital Partners and SPORTIME Clubs recently opened the largest indoor pickleball facility in New York state, located in Port Washington, and are committed to creating additional best-in-class facilities featuring rental courts, clinics, social and competitive open play sessions, tournaments and private events.
“Pickleball is one of the fastest-growing sports, with more than 36 million participants in the U.S. alone,” said Ross. “This forthcoming facility is poised to cater to this escalating demand, providing a premier venue for enthusiasts of this dynamic and increasingly popular sport.”
Ross was the sole broker.
When Environmental Site Assessments (ESA) were first part of commercial real estate risk management, it was the lenders driving this requirement. When a borrower wanted a loan on a property, banks would utilize a list of “Approved Consultants” to order the report on both refinances and purchases.
