Roseman and Frankel of Newmark Knight Frank Retail represents Nooi in 13-year lease of 1,700 s/f

According to Newmark Knight Frank Retail, Nooi, the gourmet restaurant concept from France, has signed a lease for its first U.S. location at 370 Lexington Ave. The company took 1,700 s/f between 41st and 42nd Sts. With over 50 units in France and Belgium, Nooi specializes in developing original sauces from around the world and allows its customers to customize each dish with their choice of sauce and a myriad of toppings. Deserts, beverages and breakfast offerings are also served. Jeffrey Roseman and Marc Frankel of Newmark Knight Frank's Restaurant Services Group represented Nooi in the 13-year lease transaction, while the landlord, Sherwood Equities, was represented in-house by Fred Rosenberg. Nooi represents another "new" international dining option brought to the marketplace and represented exclusively by Newmark Knight Frank's Restaurant Services Group. "Nooi is a totally unique concept which has not yet been seen in New York, and we are very pleased to have secured the company an undeniably perfect spot for its entry into the market," commented Frankel. What noteworthy transactions or deals from this year best exemplified key market trends or shifts? I would like to say there was an outstanding transaction for me this past year but 2024 was more a culmination of long-term relationships, most of which continued to transact. Deals were smaller in many cases but we saw robust leasing both on the agency side as well as on the tenant side.
