Marking its 37th year, the Real Estate Practitioners Institute (REPI) at the C.W. Post Campus of Long Island University, provides continuing education courses, education services, seminars, white pages and luncheon discussions that address topics of vital interest to regional real estate practitioners.
In keeping to its ongoing commitment, REPI's Land Use Institute is an advocate for sound planning, providing support to civic organizations, commentary on regionally significant projects, recommendations on community revitalization and information in the form of model codes, research and tools to benefit both public and commercial interests in regional development.
REPI's programs and services are a must for policy makers, civic groups and commercial real estate professionals.
The Land Use Institute's first course, taught by Daniel Gulizio, M.S., J.D., is tuition free. It is entitled, "Understanding Land Use - Critical Issues on the Horizon" and will be held on September 10. Sign in is at 8:30 a.m. with the seminar running from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Hillwood Theatre, LIU CW Post Campus, Hillwood Commons.
