Rechler Equity receives Professional Achievement Award at ACIT luncheon

Rechler Equity Partners, one of the largest owners of commercial real estate on Long Island, was honored with the prestigious 2007 "Professional Achievement Award" presented by The Advancement for Commerce Industry & Technology (ACIT) at its annual luncheon, held December 6 at the Melville Marriot Hotel. More than 600 business leaders across Nassau and Suffolk counties were present at the awards ceremony, which featured Jerry Kremer as the keynote speaker. Rechler Equity Partners was recognized with this award for its outstanding work in developing unique properties and business solutions that have transformed the landscape and secured the economic future of Long Island. Mitchell, Gregg and Donald Rechler accepted the award presented by Dr. Anthony Libertella, the Dean for the School of Business at Adelphi University and ACIT's chairman of the board, along with ACIT's president Brian Edwards, Sr. V.P. Astoria Federal Savings. Roger Rechler was unable to attend this event. "We are extremely honored to accept this award from one of the industry's leading organizations," said Mitchell Rechler. The firm's commitment to Long Island and unsurpassed reputation for bringing value to each project it undertakes, garnered Rechler Equity an unanimous vote as preferred developer by the Town of Riverhead for the development of the 300-acre Enterprise Park in Calverton. This ambitious project calls for the creation of a 2.5 million s/f industrial park.
