Real Estate Institute at Stony Brook University to host free virtual symposium on April 23rd

Stony Brook, NY The Real Estate Institute at Stony Brook University (REI) will host its annual John Kominicki Symposium through a virtual seminar to be held on Friday, April 23rd at 9:00am to 12:00pm online via Zoom Conferencing.

The symposium is, titled “Zen and The Art of the Industrial Development Agency: Facts Benefits and Misconceptions.” Topics of discussion will include the role of Long Island’s Industrial Development Agencies in their efforts to promote economic growth throughout the region.

The panel discussion will be moderated by David Pennetta, executive managing director of Cushman & Wakefield L.I. The webinar will include panelists:

  • Kelly Murphy, deputy executive director of the Suffolk County IDA;
  • Harry Coghlan, CEO/executive director of the Nassau County IDA;
  • Kyle Strober, executive director of Association for a Better Long Island; and
  • David Chauvin, executive vice president of Creative Communications.
