Construction Design & Engineering
Racanelli Construction Company, Inc., a leading construction management, general contractor and design/build resource for commercial, industrial, retail, medical, pre-engineered and multi-family housing projects, has completed an extensive interior renovation of a 10,310 s/f building on behalf of the North Shore-Long Island Jewish Health System (North Shore-LIJ). Racanelli won the multi-million dollar project in a competitive bid situation. Racanelli served as the general contractor and construction manager for the Great South Bay Imaging Center, located at 620 Main St.
The center is a two-story building which houses a women's medical center, medical diagnostic and testing facilities including MRI, CT and x-ray technologies, patient changing rooms, examination rooms, observation rooms, waiting areas, reception area and staff lounges.
In addition to the interior renovation, Racanelli provided new electric service into the building and exterior landscaping.
Heading up the team at Racanelli are principal Richard Racanelli and project team members Ron Whelan, Ray Riha and Christine Wright.
The project was valued at approximately $3.7 million.
