R Squared Real Estate Partners tops out $45 million project at 34 Leonard

Construction at 34 Leonard, a new luxury residential development in TriBeCa developed by R Squared Real Estate Partners, was ceremoniously topped out this week.  Located on the corner of Leonard St. and West Broadway, 34 Leonard is one of a handful of ground-up luxury residential offerings in the neighborhood and features 16 limited-edition, private, loft-style homes with expansive open layouts, 10 foot high ceilings and walls of windows. "We are happy to announce this unique project has now reached the topping out stage of construction with occupancy on track for year end," said Mitchell Rechler, principal of R Squared.  "We created 34 Leonard to offer the most spacious, family-style homes to a sophisticated buyer, and if the excitement from potential home owners is any indication, we've certainly hit the mark." In addition to being one of the few newly-constructed properties in TriBeCa, 34 Leonard offers its residents a myriad of amenities not typically found in the area.   34 Leonard combines traditional loft features and elegance with modern amenities, creating the ideal canvas for a variety of home buyers.  34 Leonard integrates TriBeCa trademarks, such as industrial-scale windows, exposed materials and fluid, flexible spaces.  The luxury property also extends TriBeCa's history of design and love for the arts by featuring an original piece by installation artist Jennifer Steinkamp. The $45 million project was designed by Beyer Blinder Belle Architects & Planners.
