PWC to host holiday gala December 9 at the Yale Club

On Friday, December 9, Professional Women in Construction (PWC) National will host its annual holiday black tie gala featuring "the crown prince of swing," Stan Rubin and his orchestra in the Grand Ballroom of the Yale Club. Cocktails start the evening at 7 p.m.; dinner followed by dancing run until midnight. Honored guests will be announced soon. As PWC president Lenore Janis said, "This event presents an excellent and rare opportunity to network in a jubilant atmosphere with some of the industry's true leaders and decision makers. This is a time when you want to be seen by those who count." Participants at past fetes agree that the event achieves a welcome blend of business and pleasure. Recent attendees have been enthusiastic in their praise: "The cross section of participants facilitates a blending of perspectives and opinions that helps us keep abreast ... and offers insights into current trends across the industry," said Joseph Cadillac, The Louis Berger Group, Inc. "The format...facilitated active and open dialog and allowed everyone to expand on their personal and professional networks," said Denis Boylan, Gilbane. "I was fascinated by the breadth of industry professionals present," said Heather Fraser, JCJ Architecture. Flora Ramos, Tishman Construction Corporation of N.Y., said, "PWC has been the foundation allowing many women within the industry to grow and prosper." Janis also applauded maestro Rubin who has provided the music for PWC's dinner dances for nearly a decade saying, "He makes it easy for us to trip the light fantastic."
