Sarah Epifano, from Skanska, and one of PWC’s newest board members opened the event and recognized seven of the new PWC board members sitting in the audience: Nicole Hunter, HNTB and PWC board president;  Nicole Woolard, Duane Morris & PWC board secretary; Amy Beckman, HOK; Nicole Dosso, SOM; Melinda Johnson, STV; and Shalini Mohan, SM Design & Consulting.

Karen Hedlund, vice president at WSP moderated the first panel. Petra Messick, director, Gateway program planning at Amtrak and Suzanne Silverman, senior director contracts and claims at NJ Transit, each started with presentations of the Gateway Project. Following the presentations was a discussion that pulled incredible timely information into the conversation including how the new tax law would affect those in the industry.
