PWC holds members-only event at the View of World Terrace Club

New York, NY Professional Women in Construction has hosted two member-only events, the first one in February, and the second on September 8th at View of the World Terrace Club.

“This year, PWC has tried new events to create networking opportunities with the purpose of building a community that supports women getting business,” said Chelsea LeMar, executive director. “The member-only events are the perfect place for the community to get together, talk to each other, learn from each other and build relationships that lead to business.”

These events do not have a formal program, but are set up for ultimate networking opportunities. At the September 8th event, all attendees put their cards in a bucket, and five were drawn. These five gave an overview of who they are, why they are part of PWC, and what they are looking for in terms of business opportunities. This allowed the tables to be turned on the attendees instead of the panels at most PWC forums. The sponsors of the event were Armand Corp. and HNTB.

PWC’s next events that are open to non-members are their Architects & Engineers event on Nov. 3rd, An Evening with Toby Moskovits & Heritage Equity Partners on Nov. 15th, and their Holiday Party on Dec. 14th.
