I devoted four years to working on The African Burial Ground National Monument, the first black slavery monument of New York City. What do you do now and what are you planning for the future?: As an architect at FXFOWLE Architects, I create sustainable and dynamic architectural designs for clients in the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, India, Azerbaijan, and Japan. My goal for the future is to continue to push for design excellence and innovation, while collaborating with technology to articulate, document, and communicate designs. Favorite book or author: Breath, Eyes, Memories - By Edwidge Danticat Favorite movie: Who Framed Roger Rabbit, for a movie that came out in 1980s I am still amazed at how seamlessly they were able to represent the cartoon characters in the real world. How do you unwind from a busy day in real estate?: To truly unwind I love to travel. As an avid traveler, I lived in Italy and visited Switzerland, Amsterdam, India, Spain, Germany, England, Belgium, The Netherlands, France, Luxembourg, Greece, United Arab Emirates, Thailand, Haiti, Dominican Republic, St. Thomas, Martinique, Dominica, Hawaii, and Guam. If you could invite one person to dinner (living or dead) who would it be and where would you go?: My brother Jeffrey who passed away 6 years ago. We would go home so my whole family can spend a few more moments with him. What is your dream job?: Architect, it has always been what I aspired to be and is still very much my passion.
