First job: Summer camp lifeguard

First job in real estate or allied field: Working for a PR firm with clients in advanced manufacturing for the built environment.

What do you do now and what are you planning for the future? I began working with Avison Young this July as their regional media relations and content specialist, where I leverage my relationships with the press to highlight recent transactions, big wins, key new hires, and innovative initiatives from Avison Young in the Northeast region. I stopped predicting the future in 2020, but I’m looking forward to building our reputation in the industry through proactive public relations and collaborating with our brokers and clients to creatively tell the stories behind our deals.

What do you see as an emerging or dominant trend in real estate for 2022? Everything seems to be laser-focused on technology and leveraging data. Avison Young has a robust arsenal of data and analytics tools that help our clients make the smart decisions that help them reach their goals.

How do you unwind from a busy day? I go from one extreme of going for a run or to the gym to the other of relaxing on my sofa with a good bingeable show and a cocktail.

Favorite book or author: I recently read “How Do I Unremember This” by Danny Pellegrino and thought it was incredibly relatable and hilarious.

Favorite movie: “Contact”

One word to describe your work environment: Dynamic

Rules to live by in business: Slow down, take a breath, listen before you speak/act.

If you could invite one person to dinner (living or dead, but not related to you) who would it be and where would you go? Would love to sit down with Krys Marshall at the Rainbow Room – I’m completely obsessed with “For All Mankind.”

What is your DREAM job? (something other than your current job) Park ranger
