What do you do now and what are you planning for the future? I’m the director of the construction management division at Wendel, an architecture, engineering, energy efficiency, and construction management firm that delivers customized solutions and turnkey projects in innovative ways. What sets us apart from other firms is our delivery, responsiveness, insight, and transparency. For example, there are inherent efficiencies to having all four services under one roof. It puts us in a position to serve as Master Builder on a project, meaning an open-book, and integrated provider from design through build. And that comes with advantages. Because we have designers, engineers, construction professionals, and owners involved from day one, we can deliver the best project for a client’s needs that’s on track to meet budget, schedule, and expectations. Our collaborative, cross-disciplinary structure helps us make good decisions, not only on what’s being built, but how it will be built, what materials are used, what those materials cost, and how fast those materials can be procured. And that’s insight we can apply to every project we touch.
