First job in real estate or allied field: I worked at The Athena Group when I graduated college. What do you do now and what are you planning for the future? We are focused on completing several condominium projects in Manhattan and Brooklyn, and are planning to build more in infill locations where we see great demand and barriers to entry. How do you unwind from a busy day in real estate? Lately I’ve been doing Cross-fit. Favorite book or author: I love Siddhartha by Hermann Hesse. Favorite movie: School Ties Last song you purchased/downloaded? Ever since I subscribed to Pandora I stopped downloading music, so I can’t even remember. One word to describe your work environment: Busy. Rules to live by in business: The Golden Rule - One should treat others as one would like others to treat oneself. The other rule is to work hard to develop a true core competency and to be the best person out there at one thing. If you could invite one person to dinner (living or dead, but not related to you) who would it be and where would you go? Author Christopher Hitchens. Since this would be his first dinner in quite some time I suppose I’d let him choose. I imagine he would choose a place with a good selection of whiskey. What is your dream job? I would have given up all of this to be a pro tennis player!
