What do you do now and what are you planning for the future? I am currently the head associate on the retail investment sales team at CPEX under my director Andre Sigourney. I plan on being in brokerage for a while, it’s something I love to do. As far as any future plans go beyond that is really up in the air. But I can honestly say whatever I find myself doing in 10 years from now, real estate will be a part of it.
How do you unwind from a busy day in real estate? Turning it all off after a long day is probably one of the hardest things to do in our industry. Were never really off the clock, I get phone calls and emails all the time, even late at night. And if you want to get deals done you can’t just ignore those. I’m more of a weekend warrior, I try to get outside the city on the weekends and go boating, fishing, and hiking among other things in the summer. Those are the ways I unwind.

One word to describe your work environment: Collaborative
Rules to live by in business: Commitment to your job. If you don’t believe in what you’re doing then you will end up hating your job and won’t be productive. The best part about our business is that you really get back what you put in. The more hungry you are in this industry, the more opportunities you will get. You have to be persistent through the tough times, you will have a much better chance of succeeding. But you have to be honest with yourself, decide if this is really the business for you. It’s a business of relationships and it takes time to create, they don’t form overnight.
If you could invite one person to dinner (living or dead, but not related to you) who would it be and where would you go? It would be the great coach John Wooden, I would go to Grimaldi’s Pizzeria.
