First job outside of real estate: Worked throughout High School and College. Delivered newspapers, stocked shelves in a supermarket, Friendly’s Ice Cream waiter etc etc. Summers in college managed the shipping department of a factory. The first summer I worked in the shipping department loading trucks, after that year they asked me to return to run the department as the current department head took off 2 month to visit family in Asia. That enabled me to save enough money to not have to work during the school year at college.
First job in real estate or allied field: Graduated college and started at Friedman Alpren & Green the predecessor to Friedman LLP. At that time the firm was about 40 people now 450 people.
What do you do now and what are you planning for the future? Currently - co-chairman of Friedman LLP Real Estate Group, co-managing partner of Friedman LLP. Future – Continue developing business and developing fantastic talent to continue and accelerate our expansion.
How do you unwind from a busy day in real estate? Reading non technical or real estate related matters.
