I taught fourth grade because I firmly believe no child is born color coded and every child has the right to a good education. First job in real estate or allied field: General contractor when my dad passed away suddenly. What do you do now and what are you planning for the future? Safe Haven provides physical protection for any application where protection is required for personnel and equipment. There is so much going on in our research and development introducing new products including a new door. How do you unwind from a busy day in construction/manufacturing? With a great foot massage from my husband, Johnny. Favorite book or author: "To Kill a Mockingbird" Favorite movie: "Gone With the Wind" Last song you purchased/downloaded? "I'll Be Seeing You" One word to describe your work environment: Because Safe Haven is located in a economically depressed HUBZone we operate in a family atmosphere with emphasis on honesty and integrity. Rules to live by in business: Honesty and Integrity. At the end of the day, what did I give back to help someone else. If you could invite one person to dinner (living or dead) who would it be and where would you go? My mother who passed away last year...my office with Rodney cooking crawfish eutoffe or Sue's cornbread dressing and Vicki's bundt cake. What is your dream job? WOW, I have my dream job!
