Poyant Signs wins design awards from R.I. Sign Contractors Association for Akwesasne Mohawk Casino's Cascades sign

Poyant Signs, a leading design/build sign manufacturer serving the New England region, won a total of eight awards in five categories at the Rhode Island Sign Contractors Association's awards dinner held recently. The family-owned business brought home more awards than any other company in the association. The Akwesasne Mohawk Casino's "Cascades" sign won first place in the category of Channel Letters. In a competitive field of over 100 entries in 12 categories, Poyant Signs came away with four first place awards, two second place awards and two merit awards. The judging criteria included: creativity, uniqueness of design, readability, how well the signage fits in with the architecture of the building and how well the design represents the customer's business. What noteworthy transactions or deals from this year best exemplified key market trends or shifts? I would like to say there was an outstanding transaction for me this past year but 2024 was more a culmination of long-term relationships, most of which continued to transact. Deals were smaller in many cases but we saw robust leasing both on the agency side as well as on the tenant side.
