Poretsky of Colliers ABR negotiates 8,170 s/f lease

According to Colliers ABR, Inc., Ventura Insurance Brokerage, LLC has signed a 10-year lease for 8,170 s/f at 475 Park Ave. South, taking over the majority of the 17th floor. Howard Poretsky, managing director at Colliers ABR, represented Ventura Insurance Brokerage, LLC. Steven Lambert of Cohen Brothers Realty Corp. represented ownership of the building. Ventura Insurance Brokerage, LLC, headquartered in New York City has specialized in entertainment and aviation insurance for the past 35 years. "Having keen knowledge of the midtown south market, I was pleased to strategically assist Ventura Insurance Brokerage LLC in relocating their headquarters to Midtown South said Howard Poretsky, managing director at Colliers ABR. "After intensely researching various office markets in Manhattan, 475 Park Ave. South will keep the company in close proximity to their client base and will allow for an easier commute for the Ventura staff. After over two decades in one location, my client was quite apprehensive to consider relocating in these times. Any potential move had to be well worthwhile." Colliers ABR recently completed the consolidation of its ownership structure with Cassidy & Pinkard Colliers, Colliers Pinkard, and Colliers Turley Martin Tucker, forming a holding company that is one of the nation's largest commercial real estate service firms. The consolidated entity completes more than $13 billion in worldwide transactions annually, and manages more than $30 billion in real estate.  The holding company's portfolio totals 300 million s/f under property management, 210 million s/f of space for lease, and $5 billion in capital markets transactions annually.  The Corporate Solutions division sustains more than 20,000 locations for Fortune 1,000 companies and delivers a new location "Every 80 Minutes."  Colliers is a top-ranked real estate firm on the Global Outsourcing 100 companies list, IAOP Top 100.
