Pechaty heads investment sales at Lee & Associates NYC

New York, NY Lee & Associates NYC LLC (Lee NYC) has hired Edmond Pechaty as co-head of a newly formed investment sales division. In this capacity, Pechaty joins long-time colleague Joseph Cogan in developing a team focused on off-market sales opportunities for a variety of asset classes including retail, office, multi-family and development.

Pechaty, who speaks both German and Czech, is known for his broad network of investors in the U.S and abroad.

“Edmond’s experience gives him a strong global reach,” said James Wacht, president of Lee NYC.

“He has a consistent pipeline of deal flow and the ability to bring additional investment opportunities to our clients and well as to our own group of commercial brokers and agents.”

Prior to joining Lee NYC, Mr. Pechaty honed his analytical skills as an associate broker at Town Commercial LLC, where he identified and presented unique off-market opportunities to his diverse client base. He was also instrumental in mentoring junior agents on the investment sales team in the Town Flatiron office. His background also includes work as an export specialist in Europe and assistant historian at the U.S. Department of State.

Mr. Pechaty graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in International Relations from George Washington University’s Elliot School of International Affairs. He holds a master’s degree in International Relations Economics from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced Studies.
