Passero Associates to complete $6.7 million renovation for new headquarters

Passero Associates, a full-service professional consulting firm headquartered at 100 Liberty Pole Way, will soon be moving to new space in the Bridge Square district. The architects and engineers at Passero are completing plans for the $6.7 million renovation of a 110-year-old former factory and school building at the corner of West Main St. and Cascade Dr. into two floors of offices for the firm and two floors of lofts. Retail space will also be available. The basement will be converted to underground parking, storage and gym space. Passero is partnering with Spoleta Construction on the project, scheduled to be completed in the summer of 2012. Wayne Wegman, president of Passero, said, "The City of Rochester has exciting plans for the Main and Cascade area, which will be a 'Western Gateway' to downtown. We are proud to be a part of this revitalization." After searching for over two years for new office space, Wegman is pleased with the new building. "This space has everything we were looking for - a convenient location in the heart of downtown Rochester, ample parking for our employees and clients, and room for expansion. Renovating this historic building is also an excellent opportunity for our architects and engineers to create a modern mixed-use space utilizing sustainable design practices and to showcase our firm's design abilities."
