South San Francisco, CA Swinerton and Phase3 Real Estate Partners celebrated the topping out of the Genesis North Tower.

Genesis North Tower is a 21-story, 390,000 s/f building with a steel-framed structure and aluminum and glass exterior. Core and shell of the project is designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, LLP, and interiors by McFarlane Architects Inc.

Genesis North Tower project includes offices, conference rooms, Biotech laboratories and a fitness center.

“We’re really happy to keep building on our relationship with Phase3 to deliver this biotech space to South San Francisco,” said Swinerton senior vice president Don Adair. “This project is really a win-win for everybody involved, and this is an exciting milestone.”

Since beginning the job in February 2017, the team has made impressive progress on this high-visibility project, working closely with subcontractors and a 200-ft.-high tower crane to erect the 21 steel levels.
