Outside the Region: Smith, Gambrell & Russell represents Big V Props. in three retail acquisitions

Charlotte, NC Smith, Gambrell & Russell, LLP (SGR) served as legal counsel to Big V Property Group in three of its recent shopping center acquisitions. The New York-based investment management company acquired Farm Pond, First Tuesday Center in Atlanta, Ga., and Poplin Place in Monroe, N.C.  

Farm Pond is a 52,500 s/f community shopping center. First Tuesday Center is a 158,795 s/f community shopping center. Poplin Place is a 227,669 s/f shopping center. 

The SGR legal team was led by New York real estate practice section head and partner Sean Altschul along with New York real estate practice associate Dexterrie Ramirez. Additionally, partner Eugene Bryant in the Atlanta real estate practice and partner Nick Rueter, partner Tim Elder, and associate Jonathan Hurt in the Atlanta corporate practice provided assistance. Partner Brandon Dodd in the Jacksonville real estate practice also assisted.
