What recent project, transaction or accomplishment are you most proud of?

I, with others at Fried Frank, represent Tishman Speyer as master developer for the 178-acre Hazelwood Green site in Pittsburgh. It’s incredible to be a part of transforming a giant former industrial site into a new neighborhood comprised of mixed-rate housing, tech and life-sciences innovation, education, and community hubs.

Tell us about a mentor or role model that has influenced your career choices?

I’ve had many great mentors throughout my career, including Josh Mermelstein and Meyer Last. Among other things, Josh taught me to always zoom-out on issues, for their context in the overall deal and relationship. Meyer taught me that teaching and mentoring others is as imperative as doing great legal work.

What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?

When I’m not working, I enjoy hiking, cooking and gardening with my wife and kids.
