What recent project, transaction or accomplishment are you most proud of?

A recent accomplishment that I am most proud of would be receiving the BRG office award for “2021 Breakout Star.” Regardless of age or experience, many individuals have been faced with some difficult challenges over the past couple of years. It’s important that when you’re dealing with adversity that you stay strong and power through the challenges in front of you; this is something I’ve been taught my whole life. For these reasons I was able to have an exceptional year, achieve my goals and be given this award.

What led you to your current profession?

I was a student-athlete at St. John’s University in Queens, where I attended the Peter J. Tobin College of Business and played lacrosse. During my senior year I took an elective course in real estate, which piqued my interest for the industry. Shortly after graduation I reached out to a fellow St. John’s Lacrosse alumnus (Donal Flaherty) who was noticeably succeeding in the industry; I was hired soon after and he became my mentor.

Who was/is your mentor and how did s/he influence/help you in your career?

Since beginning my career in real estate, I’ve been fortunate enough to receive mentorship from all the partners at BRG. Being able to assimilate knowledge from multiple professionals with substantial years of experience has equipped me with the tools I need to continue to evolve and excel as a real estate broker. On top of that, I’ve received massive amounts of industry knowledge from my main mentor Donal Flaherty who is a partner of the firm. Donal’s mentorship has been pivotal in my growth as a real estate professional. He has invested a significant amount of time and effort to lead and teach me to be the best broker I can be.
