Olshonsky of NAI Global designated as a FRICS

According to NAI Global, its president, Jay Olshonsky, has been named a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (FRICS), an international organization with 118,000 land, property and construction professionals. FRICS members regulate and promote the industry, maintain the highest educational and professional standards, protect clients and consumers via a strict code of ethics, and provide impartial advice and guidance. The FRICS designation is a professional symbol of the highest level of knowledge, skill and experience production and ethics in the real estate industry. Olshonsky joins 2,500 qualified members in 25 countries throughout the Americas. Only 20% of RICS members worldwide have attained the FRICS designation. Fellowship is awarded on the basis of individual achievement in the profession, recognizing commitment to professionalism, leadership, technical innovation, standards setting, academic achievement, raising the profile of the profession and demonstrating corporate social responsibility. "I am honored to join this group of professionals who stand out in the eyes of their peers, clients and the community," said Olshonsky. "NAI Global encourages individuals at our Member firms to further their professional development to better serve their clients and uphold industry standards; we encourage them to join and support RICS by becoming qualified members, earning designations and accreditations, and maximizing the educational programs and services it offers.
