O’Connell of Daniel Gale Sotheby’s International Realty named to Long Island Press Power List

Cold Spring Harbor, NY Deirdre O’Connell, CEO of Daniel Gale Sotheby’s International Realty, one of the nation’s leading realtors, has been recognized among the most influential leaders on Long Island.  She was named to the Long Island Press Power List, which recognizes top business and community leaders.  

In 2017, with O’Connell working as second in command to president and chairman Patricia Petersen, Daniel Gale Sotheby’s International Realty achieved $3.3 billion in sales volume, making it the most profitable year in its nearly 100 year history. Behind that dollar figure were 3,590 closed transactions and an average sales price across the organization that at $912,000 was almost twice the MLS average on Long Island. As further proof of its leadership in the market, Daniel Gale Sotheby’s International Realty closed more than double the number of transactions above $3 million than its nearest competitor. 

Throughout her career, Deirdre O’Connell has excelled as an agent, a broker-owner and today, sets the future course of an organization that currently has more than 950 sales associates in 27 offices spanning Nassau and Suffolk Counties, Queens, the North Fork and Westhampton Beach.
