NYSSCPA holds blood drive at offices of Margolin, Winer & Evens

Continuing its tradition of helping address the region's blood supply demands, the New York State Society of CPAs (NYSSCPA) recently held the second leg of this year's blood drives on behalf of the Long Island Blood Services of the New York Blood Center. This blood drive was held at the offices of Margolin, Winer & Evens LLP (MWE), a leading certified public accounting and business advisory firm headquartered in Garden City, N.Y. Once again, MWE employees led in number of donors for the local event which also saw participation from the CPA firms of Grassi and Weiser. Thirty-nine pints of blood were collected, which will touch the lives of more than 115 people.
