Nicholson of Island Associates brokers sale of Commack multiplex
Nicholson of Island Associates Real Estate Inc. brokered the sale of Commack multiplex to Lowe's Home Center consisting of over 20 acres on the Long Island Expressway. Site offers exposure from the Long Island Expressway and Commack Rd. across from the former Home Depot Expo, Costco, Home Depot, Target, Guitar Center and Home Goods center.
Nicholson of Island Associates represented both the seller and purchaser in this transaction. Site was chosen over multiple options in the area, given the public assembly use of the existing use this site offered the parking required given the 20 acres of commercial zone land.

What noteworthy transactions or deals from this year best exemplified key market trends or shifts? I would like to say there was an outstanding transaction for me this past year but 2024 was more a culmination of long-term relationships, most of which continued to transact. Deals were smaller in many cases but we saw robust leasing both on the agency side as well as on the tenant side.
