Naftali Group welcomes chef Shani restaurant to Williamsburg Wharf

Brooklyn, NY Naftali Group, along with Access Industries, a U.S.-based private holding company with global strategic investments, has entered into an agreement with chef Eyal Shani and Good People Group, a global restaurant group founded by Shani and restaurant visionary Shahar Segal, to introduce a new restaurant concept at Williamsburg Wharf, the 3.75-acre master-planned development and resort-style destination on the East River shoreline. The forthcoming restaurant will occupy 4,000 s/f of ground-floor retail space along Kent Ave.

“Welcoming Eyal Shani, the amazing chef behind great restaurants such as Port Sa’id, Michelin-starred Shmoné, HaSalon, Miznon, and Malka, will further enrich the retail and cultural experience for both residents and visitors is an exciting moment for our firm, and this project,” said Miki Naftali, chairman and CEO of Naftali Group. “This partnership is focused on building a space where people can come together, connect, and enjoy not only great food but also a creative atmosphere that reflects the vibrant energy of Williamsburg. We are proud to have Good People Group as our tenant at Williamsburg Wharf, and we are confident that under Chef Eyal Shani’s leadership, the restaurant will offer a unique and inspired culinary experience for everyone who visits.”

Good People Group operates over 40 successful restaurants worldwide, including restaurants in Tel Aviv, New York, Miami, London, Paris, Vienna, Melbourne, Singapore, and more. The restaurant concept at Williamsburg Wharf will follow the recent openings of Shmoné Wine, Chef Shani’s first venture into the beverage space, Malka, a Kosher-certified restaurant with locations in Manhattan, Brooklyn, and West Palm Beach, and join Good People Group’s expanding collection of dining concepts, including Shmoné, Miznon, HaSalon, Port Sa’id, and more. Similar to Good People Group’s other restaurants, the new concept at Williamsburg Wharf will spotlight chef Eyal Shani’s signature dining experience and unique culinary philosophy.

“Along the city’s most mesmerizing waterfront, we are excited to join the Naftali Group in shaping something extraordinary,” said Shani. “As we expand in New York, we are thrilled to welcome guests into this new home.”
