The N.Y. Metro CCIM chapter hosted a luncheon at the Cornell Club on June 19th. Among the presenters were CCIM Institute 2013 president Wayne D'Amico and CCIM regional VP Sandy Brown CCIM from Boston. Special guest, billionaire businessman and real estate developer John Catsimatidis, CEO of Gristedes Foods, one of tthe largest grocery chains in the borough and the Red Apple Group, a real estate company with over $700 million in real estate holdings.
Catsimatidis is actively campaigning to be the second billionaire mayor of N.Y.C. following Michael Bloomberg. He spoke about his years of experience in development and creating 10,000's of jobs in addition to his vision for the city and proposed plans if elected to the mayoral chair.
