MWBE Unite, Inc., names Vazquez as a member of the board of directors

New York, NY MWBE Unite, Inc. the one-stop platform for diverse suppliers in Commercial Real Estate (CRE) has appointed John Vazquez as a board director, effective immediately.

“We are extremely honored to have John Vazquez join us on this journey to move the diversity needle in the CRE sector. His expertise and guidance will help MWBE Unite accelerate our progress,” said Pay Wu, president of MWBE Unite.

Vazquez most recently served as the senior vice president of Global Real Estate and Global Supply Chain for Verizon. Vazquez has a career in managing and transforming Verizon’s 100 million s/f of administrative, technical, and retail real estate and recently served on the Executive Board of the National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC) and continues to work with the leadership team as an advisor.  

Vazquez offers deep understanding on supply chain concerns, having sourced and managed more than $50 billion in global spend across logistics, reverse supply chain, asset monetization and optimization, inventory management, product development & manufacturing and procurement. 

“Diversity in CRE has been a life-long mission that threads through my career as a Hispanic executive, and I am thrilled to join the MWBE Unite Board and its mission of advancing supplier and workforce diversity,” said Vazquez.
