Miron Properties secures new location for EVC

Miron Properties, a full-service real estate brokerage, has represented East Village Cheese (EVC), an East Village institution serving the community for over 25 years which was recently forced to relocate because of a Duane Reade expansion, in finding a new location. Conrad Bradford, an agent at Miron Properties secured co-owner Lobsang Mudatsang's EVC a new location at 80 E. 7th St. The location is 900 s/f plus a basement owned by NBKN Corp. and Cassandra Reed of Warren Real Estate represented the space's owner. Fashion boutique "Alabama Chanin" just vacated the space. EVC took officially possession of 80 East 7th St. on June 15 and will be opening for business on July 31 with a ten-year lease. "Tourists flock to Manhattan because of its unique character, made up of creative independent retail outlets. One of my jobs as a commercial real estate broker is to make sure that this exciting individuality is not stamped out by rising rents," says Conrad Bradford, associate broker, Miron Properties.
