Metro-Long Island chapter of NYSCAR elects 2009 officers and directors
Harvey Kolin, of Coldwell Banker Commercial NRT has been elected president of the Metro-Long Island chapter of the New York State Commercial Association of Realtors (NYSCAR).
Also elected was: Alan Hendrickson as treasurer; and re-elected were Jack Britvan as vice president; and Len Primack as secretary. Elected to the NYSCAR chapter board as directors were: Heidi Spellman and Larry Gruttemeyer; re-elected to the board were: Paul Fetscher, Jack Malone, Jerry Norton and Mike O'Brien. Continuing to serve on the board are Edward Smith and Jeff Ferretti.

When Environmental Site Assessments (ESA) were first part of commercial real estate risk management, it was the lenders driving this requirement. When a borrower wanted a loan on a property, banks would utilize a list of “Approved Consultants” to order the report on both refinances and purchases.
