Meet the USGBC Members: Batcheller and Hodukavich

Ed Batcheller, LEED GA, is currently spearheading the new Outreach Committee of the USGBC-LI chapter. The committee's mission is to create synergies with other like minded organizations and increase awareness of our mutual goals. Batcheller is the director of business development at Apollo HVAC Corp., and is the treasurer of the Association of Facilities Engineers. He is also active with the HIA energy efficiency committee, and the Geo-LI.org, a newly formed trade association that promotes geothermal heating and cooling. David Hodukavich, RA is the director of sustainability at Racanelli Construction Co. in Melville. With over 30 years of extensive experience in commercial and industrial building design, Hodukavich also oversees the implementation and administration of sustainable measures for commercial, recreational and healthcare facilities pursuing LEED Certification. He is a registered architect, member of the American Institute of Architects, LEED AP BD+C and 1981 graduate of New York Institute of Technology. He is active in the USGBC-LI Chapter and Membership Committee.
