Meet the ICSC Members: Martin Deitch and Ira Korn

Martin Deitch, senior vice president, is a graduate of Monmounth College. He had been an executive of Henry K. Neidich & Co. and Aries Deitch & Endelson, Inc. since 1977. He had directed the management, leasing and development of 50 shopping centers in the northeast region of the country. He has also acted as the tenant representative of various chain stores in the tri-state area. He now heads the firms 10 salesman leasing department. His prior business experience includes 10 years at Syracuse Supply Co. where he earned top sales honors for seven consecutive years. In 2001 Korn joined Charter Real Estate Brokerage as a commercial real estate consultant. In 2004 he was recruited by USAirports/A.J. Costello & Son Development where he served as director of leasing prior to joining Ardent in 2006. Korn has produced leases in excess of $20 million in lease value, participated as an executive committee member on a 50-acre mixed-use development and conducted numerous commercial real estate transactions. 2024 Year in Review: William O’Brien, M.C. O’Brien, Inc.

What noteworthy transactions or deals from this year best exemplified key market trends or shifts? I would like to say there was an outstanding transaction for me this past year but 2024 was more a culmination of long-term relationships, most of which continued to transact. Deals were smaller in many cases but we saw robust leasing both on the agency side as well as on the tenant side.
