Meet the ICSC Members: Gerald Marshall and Andrew Pittel

Gerald Marshall is a co-owner and the chairman, president and CEO of Amerimar Enterprises, Inc., overseeing the acquisition, financing, redevelopment and disposition of various Amerimar assets. Marshall is also a member of Amerimar's investment and executive committees. Prior to joining Amerimar in 1988, Marshall was with Dean Witter Realty, Inc. in New York City, where he focused on real estate acquisitions, development and management. Marshall holds a bachelor's degree from The University of Texas with a major in Real Estate and an MBA from The Wharton School of the Univ. of Penn. with a concentration in Finance. What noteworthy transactions or deals from this year best exemplified key market trends or shifts? I would like to say there was an outstanding transaction for me this past year but 2024 was more a culmination of long-term relationships, most of which continued to transact. Deals were smaller in many cases but we saw robust leasing both on the agency side as well as on the tenant side.
