McGovern joins Omni Development Company

Omni Development Company, Inc. has named seasoned real estate specialist Michael McGovern to the position of associate broker in its commercial real estate brokerage group. McGovern brings with him 30 years of real estate industry experience in purchase, sale, lease, property management, development and construction. In his new position at Omni, McGovern will specialize in assisting law firms and lobbyists with their real estate needs. McGovern's extensive portfolio of projects span Massachusetts and New York, including notable tenures in Boston, New York City, and most recently Albany. He has held various leadership and senior management roles based on the volume of his transactions in the brokerage, development, and construction of buildings, boutique hotels, restaurants, medical facilities, office and retail space, condominiums and residential space. As a developer, McGovern has been involved in the revitalization of the Park South Neighborhood in Albany and has worked in conjunction with Albany Medical Center's major expansion project. McGovern has worked in close association with Mayor Jerry Jennings' administration and the Park South Neighborhood Association.
