M.C. O’Brien leases a total of 59,614 s/f in Brooklyn/Queens during the 4th quarter

New York, NY M.C. O’Brien Inc. finished the 4th quarter with several notable office transactions totaling 59,614 s/f, throughout Brooklyn and Queens

William O’Brien, SIOR, assisted Brian Given, Steve Jaray and Sheena Gohil of Colliers International NY, LLC, in representation of New York Presbyterian Queens in the lease of 12,000 s/f of ground floor medical office space in the prominent Pinnacle Condominium located at 112-05 Queens Blvd. in the desirable Forest Hills building section of Queens. Vass Realty represented the ownership.

O’Brien also assisted Matt Astracan and Sarve Eshtehardi of  Jones Lang LaSalle., in the lease of  7,500 s/f in a newly developed building located at 720 64th St. to New York Life Insurance in the Bensonhurst section of  Brooklyn.

O’Brien represented One on One Counseling in the lease of 3,500 s/f located at 887 East New York Ave. in the Crown Heights section of Brooklyn.

O’Brien also represented Stanley Black and Decker’s Convergent Security System’s Division in the renewal of 8,000 s/f of office space located at 10-09 49th Ave. in Long Island City.

O’Brien represented CAMBA Inc. in the lease of 2,000 s/f of office space at 1667 Pitkin Ave. located in the Brownsville section of Brooklyn.

O’Brien represented Brooklyn Community Services in a lease extension of 6,814 s/f located at 540 Atlantic Ave. in the Boerum Hill section of Brooklyn.

The leasing team of O‘Brien and Karen Cohen also of M.C. O’Brien effectuated several other transactions including:

• 2412 Church  Ave., a 15,000 s/f one-story office building in the Flatbush Section of Brooklyn to Help PSI.The tenant was represented by Michael Zaleski of Zaleski Properties.

• 1310 Rockaway Parkway a 8,750 s/f a one-story office building in the Canarsie Section of Brooklyn to Brooklyn Community Services.

• Cohen and O’Brien leased 3,800 s/f to South Brooklyn Legal Services at 900 Fulton St. in the Clinton Hill section of Brooklyn.

O’Brien observed that the office market continues to be very tight throughout the borough and with the benefit of over 25 years of brokering all facets of commercial real estate he has honed a unique set of skills and experience that allows him to transact leases throughout the boroughs of Brooklyn and Queens.
