Massey Knakal sells 40,000 s/f multifamily building for $10.1 million
Massey Knakal arranged the sale of a multifamily building at 730 West 183rd St., located on the corner of West 183rd St. and Robert Magaw Place in the borough's Hudson Heights neighborhood, was sold in an all-cash transaction valued at $10.1 million.
The five-story, walk-up building contains 40,000 s/f and consists of 44 residential units, of which 21 are three-room, 14 are four-room, and eight are five-room apartments.
"Hudson Heights has quickly become one of the most desirable places for multifamily property owners to invest. The sale of this property had exceptional interest from what are typically considered downtown buyers who are now very bullish on the outlook of the uptown market place," said Massey Knakal's Robert Shapiro, who exclusively handled this transaction with chairman Bob Knakal.
