Massey Knakal sells 3,300 s/f mixed-use property for $650,000

A two-story, mixed-use property at 244-18 Jericho Turnpike in the Floral Park section of Nassau County, was sold by Massey Knakal Realty Services in an all-cash transaction valued at $650,000. The brick property is located at the southwest corner of Jericho Turnpike and 245th St. The property consists of vacant retail bar space on the ground floor, two occupied studio apartments and a parking space in the rear. The second floor has a one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartment, both of which were delivered vacant. The property contains approximately 3,300 s/f. "This property was a battle to sell given that it's directly across from Queens so it had very high taxes," said Massey Knakal broker Nalini Chugh, who exclusively represented the seller. "There were also some tenant issues. However, we were able to secure a buyer at close to the asking price in these uncertain financial times." Massey Knakal Realty Services was the sole broker in this transaction.
