Markgraf and Wesemann open Charles Rutenberg Realty Sayville office

Sayville, NY Licensed real estate associate broker Kent Markgraf and his sister-in-law Carol Wesemann, a licensed real estate salesperson, took the charge in opening a new Charles Rutenberg Realty, Inc. office, along the town’s Montauk Hwy./Main St. corridor. For Markgraf, the branch manager, and Wesemann, the main agent liaison, opening an office together was a natural next step in their real estate careers. Combined, the pair has 15 years experience in the industry – both as real estate agents and, in Markgraf’s case, also as an attorney.

As natives to the South Shore of Long Island, Markgraf and Wesemann decided to focus their primary attention on the area from Oakdale/Bohemia through Holbrook/Patchogue. Though, they aren’t limited only to those areas and have had recent sales in Smithtown and Moriches.

When Charles Rutenberg Realty became ready to boost its presence on Suffolk’s South Shore, Mr. Markgraf and Ms. Weseman jumped at the opportunity. The first order of business was to move the office down the road to a newly remodeled office location, which provides modern amenities while incorporating CRR’s business model of Agents spending more time in the field than in the office.

In re-igniting the Sayville Office, the pair have also put in place an aggressive plan to help associated Agents succeed. Using Markgraf’s keen legal knowledge and Ms. Wesemann’s long history of successful sales performance, the pair will provide marketing services, referrals, legal guidance, listing services and more.

Markgraf is looking forward to expanding as he already has several leads lined up thanks to personal and professional connections. Existing Agents are welcome to contact Charles Rutenberg Realty if they are interested in joining a top-notch team.

“We are very excited for the future of our Sayville office,” said Pam Moshé, owner/CFO, Charles Rutenberg Realty, Inc. “We look forward to the opportunities that this new location and leadership will provide to our clients and our agents and we wish Kent and Carol much success in building their business.”

The evolving relationship of environmental consultants and the lending community - by Chuck Merritt

When Environmental Site Assessments (ESA) were first part of commercial real estate risk management, it was the lenders driving this requirement. When a borrower wanted a loan on a property, banks would utilize a list of “Approved Consultants” to order the report on both refinances and purchases.
