Mark Zborovsky & Co. closes sale of 16 unsold sponsor units

A block of 16 unsold sponsor units in Greystone Condominium at 127 West 82nd St. has just been sold, according to Mark Zborovsky, president of Mark Zborovsky & Co., Inc. The property is a 10-story pre-war building located two blocks off Central Park in the Upper West Side area and sold for just under $6 million. According to Zborovsky, the market of unsold sponsor unit blocks is still very active. Although the purchases of rent-regulated sponsor unit blocks have always been difficult to finance, the current lack of general financing has not affected this segment of New York real estate yet. This marks the eigth bulk sale of sponsor units Mark Zborovsky has closed on this year.
