Marcus & Millichap brokers $8 million sale of Flat Iron District mixed-use building

Manhattan, NY Marcus & Millichap negotiated the sale of a five-story, mixed-use building for $8.15 million.

“Through our team’s collaboration and after a thorough and widely exposed marketing campaign, we were able to connect with an out-of-state buyer in a 1031 Exchange,” said Matt Fotis.

Fotis, Colton Traynham, and Michael Weinstein, investment specialists in Marcus & Millichap’s Manhattan office, had the exclusive listing to market the property on behalf of the seller, Griffon Monkey, LLC.

Located at 17 W 24th St., this mixed-use building comprises two apartments, two commercial units, and one retail unit, totaling 8,480 s/f. Situated between 5th and 6th Aves. in Manhattan’s Flatiron District, it’s positioned half a block from Madison Square Park and near subway lines serving the F, M, N, R, and W lines.
